In the recent years the Amir offered citizens with low-income shops for free (or reasonable price) to enhance their income. A lot of Qataris opened restaurants and small shops to sell traditional food which increased the number of visitors to Souq Waqif (tourists and Qataris) to have good time at those restaurant and cafes. Also, Qatari elderly started going to the traditional cafes to gather and play traditional games.  So it became a good place for elderly people to spend their time. However, sometimes the weather is too hot tourists are unable to enjoy shopping at souq Waqif so the government should make a suitable solution for that like conditioning the internal passages.
